Forms in Motion is an exploration of how fabric can emulate the organic, flowing movement of nature. This project examines the interplay between material properties, light, and form, with a focus on creating surfaces that feel alive. Inspired by the octopus’s fluid and hypnotic motion, I experimented with draping, folding, and layering techniques to mimic its graceful underwater rhythm. These studies became pivotal in designing the octopus-inspired dress, where fabric captures the essence of its flowing, dynamic movement, blending elegance with a sense of life in motion.
